When he lifts the bottle to pour their drinks, his hand hovers for a moment above the table, as if he can't tell where the glasses are. Eventually he lowers it slightly and taps it against the side of the glass, drags it up the side and rests it on the rim, then pours.

Repeat for Inumata's drink, except he might have let the bottle wander a bit at some point and let some of the contents spill. He corrects it before he can make some kind of huge mess, but there's a few drops of alcohol on the table and a trail running down the side of his glass. Whoops.

Apparently Uzu doesn't even notice. He just sets it down and lifts his own glass.]

[NO. HE DIDN'T. He's also never gotten completely drunk before, and he's VERY CONCERNED THIS MIGHT BE HIS FIRST TIME. Tipsy, yes. DRUNK? No.

Frowning deeply at the messy glass, as well as the fact he's going to have to do this, Inumuta delicately takes up his glass and lifts it as well. For... the sake of ceremony, apparently.

Aaaand now he has to actually drink it. Fuck. Okay. Might as well just do a big gulp of it and swallow it fast before he can actually taste it. Which works. For a few seconds. Then his eyes water as he tries to stifle some more coughing, but overall, it didn't go too badly. Except, you know, that was only one gulp out of probably... four or five more. Already he can feel his face heating up behind his collar, and he remains silent for now...]

I used to avoid alcohol allll the time, back then. Everyone else got into drinking underage cause...well, we were all dumb and thought it was cool. [He laughs suddenly at that.] I didn't partake just because it seemed like a stupid way to rebel, stick it to the old man and his whole business.

But he probably would've approved less of me actually doing it, looking back.
