[At this point, she knows searching for her friends is probably a lost cause. With no clue where Terra had gone, and with Ventus out of commission in a place she couldn't return to, it was pretty much insanity to think searching the entire universe, every world, could ever lead her to some kind of shot at succeeding. It would take several lifetimes to make any real progress.
But after everything that had happened, that hope was all she had left to hold onto. Her home was gone, her friends were gone - she was completely alone now. The thoughts of one day re-uniting with them to fix even a fraction of the damage Xehanort had done was all she could use as motivation to keep going. Things could only be really hopeless if she made it that way by giving up.
And at this point, she couldn't let herself give into despair.
("Terra...Ven...I promised the wayfinder would lead us back to each other. Just wait for me. I'll make that promise a reality.")
As she's traveling through space, the very first planet that comes into view becomes her destination, immediately steering her glider in it's direction to descend. It didn't really matter that she didn't know where she was going exactly, simply because anywhere at all could be a first step, so at the very least she didn't have to be particularly picky about where to go.
Having said that, once she touches down in the most remote spot she can find, her armor is gone and her keyblade is back to normal, out of sight...
...she really has no idea where to begin. That was the downside to to having no leads.]
I guess I'll just...have to ask around first.
[And off she goes, mostly in search of signs of larger settlements or something, but people all by themselves will do. At this point, anything will.]
[Welcome to Y City! From a distance, it looks not unlike any sprawling metropolis you'd see in your animes, or in Aqua's case - it's completely inorganic, made of concrete and wire and steel. The deeper she travels, though, the thicker it becomes with people, and the more lively it appears. That said, though, most of the inhabitants only spare a passing glance - even with, or maybe because of her clothes.
[It really isn't like anything she's seen before. Most of the worlds she'd been to before now were...not quite as developed. Villages, castles, even her own world was just one big stone building surrounded by more natural formations. The population, too, is way more than she's used to; a lot of people was one thing, but tightly packed crowds were another entirely.
Basically, this is really quite an experience for her.
So it's no surprise she doesn't quite catch the girl who runs straight into her, too distracted by everything else, but fortunately any real falls are avoided; instead, she just takes a single step back to support herself as she jolts back on the spot, arms raised a bit for balance. It's enough to snap her out of her daze regarding the city around them, focusing on this...girl...]
("Organs...?")
Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't see you there miss.
Are you alright?
[A part of her wants to ask that in relation to thinking she'd harvest her organs, but uh...she's too polite for that. Maybe it's just a cultural thing???]
[Oh, what was it Kurumi did again? It's a shame she can't remember when she's the one that made it up. Either way, she balances on one leg in a crude imitation of a martial arts stance. Someone watches too many movies.]
Karate! Yeah, that's right! I'll chop you up -
[But wait. This foreigner asked after her - tone it down a little, Mugen. She doesn't come down from the "stance," but the light of realization is clear in her... eye. So then she switches gears entirely,]
[It's dumb, but it cheers her up in it's own way, unintentionally. Aqua can't hide her smile at the whole thing.]
It's alright, I'm sure that would've surprised anyone. It surprised me, too.
[But the important thing here is she's in contact with a native, one more willing to talk to her than anyone she's passed by so far. It would be best if she didn't miss this opportunity.]
That's right! I was born and raised in the city. It's my home.
[Or something like that. The setting she set up for herself was something like that. Muu-chan and Azana Hatsumi have been friends since they met in elementary, and they picked up Kurumi Kuruya in middle school and the three of them have been together ever since. How quaint! She could shed a tear at how nauseatingly picturesque it is.
But she doesn't. Because this person has intruded on her stage, totally unannounced, and she has to admit she's curious.]
The truth is, I'm not from around here. [But she's not specifying because people aren't supposed to know there're other worlds. She's still going to try and uphold that, even now, as a keybearer.] ...but I'm not here to stay, either. Just passing through. I'm on a search for some friends that might have been here before, so would you mind if I asked you about them? I won't take up too much of your time.
[She mulls the thought over. Visiting? Where from? Aqua is a Latin word. Did she come from Europe, or someplace else? She's not a threat, definitely not, but any kind of intruder really spices things up.
The boy's...about this tall. [Holds her hand at abouuut...her neck. Maybe a little lower.] His name's Ventus. Light brown hair, blue eyes, young. He's really talkative and friendly.
The other...
[This was complicated. She hadn't seen Terra since Xehanort clashed with him at the keyblade graveyard...
...just how different was he? Did he return to normal? Is he still Xehanort? Or has he forgotten? The last one would be the worst even compared to him being Xehanort, if only because it'd make him even harder to find.]
...he's...taller. Maybe six foot. Medium length white hair with a...spiky bit at the top. Tanned skin, yellow eyes.
[That should stand out, right?? Even if she can't give a name.
[She says, but she's not really that bothered. It's just that they aren't Japanese; they're still pronounceable, at least. It's more than she could say for some.
Mugen thinks about how to respond. The truth is that she doesn't know, but should she be honest, or should she lead her on? If she gets what she came for - or doesn't, whichever, then she'll leave on her merry way. It'd be easy to rewrite her fate to prevent that, but that's also boring.
So let's see. Water, wind... what's left? There's no guarantee of it, but no loss if she's totally off the mark either.]
Umm... Terra... something, right? I think I saw some guys like that.
[Bless this poor soul, she's just too disney to be able to hide the hope that instills in her from hearing his name. Her posture straightens just that bit more, eyes widening slightly. She even makes a very low but audible gasp.
And not only that, but she said guys, plural. Both of them? Had they found each other already?]
Mugen, do you remember where you saw them? Do you know where they were were headed?
[Because this isn't just the hope of re-uniting with the friends who she lost so long ago. This is the hope that, in the event it's really him, Terra fought the darkness and won. He expelled Xehanort from his body and succeeded in reclaiming it.
Granted, it could be Xehanort going by a false name too...but a 50/50 chance is better than no chance at all. It's more than she could have ever hoped for.]

Oh no! Hatsumi, I hit a foreigner! Now I'll get kidnapped and have my organs sold on the black market -
[There wasn't anyone behind her.]
