[She only opened her eyes then, speaking as if it were obvious fact. His commentary was more of a confirmation than it was a surprise, so was far from angry. She wouldn't bother to give him an idea of just how much she related to him.]
So long as two humans live on this earth, there will always be a battle. Therefore, as long as you are my sword, you will always have someone to fight.
[She wondered vaguely if she'd even be up to it. She was a force to be reckoned with, certainly, even now... but for now she was depending on her already standing reputation. Since that day, she had yet to fight anyone to be sure, but she was certain she was slower than usual.]
