Usually when somethin' is funny it's based on subvertin' expectations. Like the most typical joke I can think of is the one about the chicken crossin' the road, then the answer is gettin' to the other side. It's dumb and it ain't funny cause it's really overused, but you could work on it sorta like...instead of "to get to the other side", you could say "I've got a pretty mean kick."
